15 minutes from the blue flag river beach Azenhas d’el Rei, 20 minutes from the river beach of Monsaraz, Vila Viçosa, Reguengos de Monsaraz and the village of Redondo. In the village of Terena you can find everything you need, Restaurants/cafe, bakery, mini-markets, pharmacy, medical center and Parish Council. You can visit monuments such as the Boa Nova Sanctuary, Medieval Castle, Churches, Torre do Relógio Museum, Pelourinho, Lucefecit Dam, Chapels, tea plantation, regenerative agriculture estate, Roman bridge and you can also take fantastic walks along different pedestrian routes.
In Terena there are also hot air balloon and tuk tuk rides (Tukefecit) with access to the main tourist attractions.
